About this fabric

The slate ground gives this colourway a quiet, slightly blue-grey depth, while blush accents bring warmth to the birds and floral forms without making the design feel bright. Fine cream and muted green details pick out the scrolling foliage and layered flower heads, creating a densely illustrated surface. At 490 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with a 130 cm usable width. The pattern repeats every 27 cm vertically and 23 cm horizontally, allowing the compact motif to flow continuously across a larger piece.

How to use it

Use the cool slate base on a tailored armchair, footstool or sofa, pairing it with chalky cream, weathered wood and muted blush accents. Its closely detailed pattern works especially well where the upholstery can be seen at close range.
