About this fabric
Wilde Russet is a printed fabric from the Casey collection by Colefax and Fowler, with a repeat of approximately V 9cm / H 18cm and a width of approximately 142cm. Its 63% viscose, 22% acrylic and 15% cotton composition gives the cloth a smooth handle that suits both upholstery and drapery use. In this colourway the animal marking is rendered in warm terracotta-russet tones, with a lighter cream-beige ground that keeps the design readable and bright. The overall effect is earthy and polished rather than harsh, so the leopard spots feel decorative and considered. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.
How to use it
Use Wilde Russet to bring warmth to a sofa, occasional chair or ottoman, especially alongside oak, leather and muted neutrals. It also works well for curtains or Roman blinds where the small-scale motif can add movement without overwhelming a room.
