Atlas Noir

Misc Fabric

Atlas Noir is shown here as a very dark, near-black plain with a soft charcoal cast. The surface has a subtle woven texture that keeps the colour from reading flat or glossy.

About this fabric

Atlas Noir is a 100% polyester fabric with a 145cm width and no pattern repeat, making it a straightforward choice for clean, uninterrupted runs. In this colourway the black is softened by a charcoal undertone, so it feels deep rather than harsh, with a faintly mottled weave visible in the light. The texture gives the cloth a dry, understated finish that suits both structured upholstery and elegant drapery applications. Care instructions are 1<NTQ.

How to use it

Use Atlas Noir to ground pale timber, stone and linen schemes, or pair it with brushed brass and warm neutrals for a sharper contrast. Its soft black tone is especially effective where you want depth without a high-gloss finish.

A deep, understated black that works as a quiet foundation in tailored interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
