About this fabric
This fabric is made from 100% polyester and has a clean, even surface with no obvious pattern, so the colour itself does the work. In this colourway the purple is strongly shaded toward blackened plum, giving it a subdued, luxurious look rather than a bright violet one. The 145cm width makes it practical for a range of furnishing uses, and the finish looks suitable for smart upholstery or drapery applications. Care is straightforward with spot clean only instructions, and it should not be ironed; it is also not fire retardant.
How to use it
Use this deep purple to add drama against pale stone, warm taupe or brass accents, where its dark plum undertone will feel especially rich. It would also work well in layered schemes with velvet, walnut and smoked glass for a cocooning effect.
