Melford Weaves FabricSAF0155-35

Lagom Duck Egg is a softly mottled duck egg weave with a calm, coastal feel. The close basket texture gives the colour a gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Woven in Sanderson’s Melford Weaves collection, Lagom Duck Egg has a substantial 346gsm handle and a practical 140 cm usable width. The fabric shows a fine, even weave with a subtle slubbed texture that lifts the pale blue tone and keeps it from reading too crisp. Its 21.5 threads per cm create a compact, cloth-like surface with no pattern repeat, making the colour and texture the focus. The shade sits between blue and green with a cool, softened cast that feels light rather than icy.

How to use it

Use this duck egg tone on armchairs, dining seats or a tailored headboard where you want colour that stays calm and bright. It pairs neatly with chalky whites, pale oak and brushed metal finishes.

A cool, airy blue weave that brings quiet texture to clean-lined seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
