About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Melford Weaves collection is a substantial 346 gsm textile with a usable width of 140 cm and no pattern repeat, making the weave itself the feature. The surface shows a light natural ground broken by tiny flecks of deeper beige and taupe, giving the colourway a gently speckled, organic look. Its tight 21.5 threads per cm support the refined woven texture visible in the image, while the overall handle suggests a cloth better suited to upholstery than very fluid drapery. The tone sits warm rather than stark, with a sand-and-oat softness that keeps the fabric feeling easy and versatile.
