About this colour

In #5F7990, Midnight Blue reads as a cool, mid-toned blue with a strong grey base, so it softens rather than shouts on a wall. It takes light gently and will appear slightly denser in lower light, which gives it a composed, cocooning feel. In a north-facing room it can lean more slate and restrained, while in south-facing light the blue comes forward and the colour feels clearer and a little airier. In Active Emulsion or Waterbased Eggshell, it suits spaces where you want the walls to sit quietly beside pale oak, dark walnut, chrome, or linen upholstery.

How to use it
