About this fabric

The close view reveals small meandering shapes and broken, pebble-like marks rather than a regular geometric grid, creating lively texture across the amber-brown ground. As a velvet weighing 840gsm, it has the substantial presence expected of a hard-wearing upholstery cloth. The fabric has a 134.5cm usable width, with a 29cm vertical repeat and 67cm horizontal repeat for pattern planning. Its fine construction is recorded at 105 threads per centimetre, while the warm copper-amber tone keeps the dense motif feeling inviting rather than stark.

How to use it

Use this warm amber colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its dark tracery can add depth against cream, tobacco, walnut or softly chalky walls. Keep surrounding textiles relatively quiet so the small-scale pattern and changing velvet sheen remain visible.
