Dufour

2026 Paint PaintZOP1034-34

The house has discontinued this one. We are keeping the page so the link still works, but we can no longer order it. There are alternatives below, and if you have a cutting or a photograph we will help you match it.

Dufour is a restrained grey-green with a soft, mineral feel and just enough blue in it to keep it calm. In Zoffany’s 2026 Paint range, it sits neatly between sage and stone.

About this colour

This shade reads cool overall, with a muted green note that stops it feeling flat and gives it a quiet, tailored look on the wall. It lifts light gently rather than reflecting it sharply, so it can make a room feel settled and composed. In a north-facing room, Dufour will lean a little greyer and cooler, which suits its understated character. In south-facing light, the green comes forward more clearly and the colour feels cleaner and fresher. It works well beside warm oak, walnut and painted joinery, and it also gives a calm backdrop to linen weaves, charcoal upholstery and muted patterned curtains.

How to use it

Dufour suits sitting rooms, studies and bedrooms where you want the walls to feel composed without going dark. It pairs particularly well with pale oak woodwork, antique brass details and upholstery in moss, flax, deep blue or soft taupe.

A calm grey-green wall colour with a cool, balanced feel.

Pairs well with

Dufour is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
