About this colour

This shade reads cool overall, with a muted green note that stops it feeling flat and gives it a quiet, tailored look on the wall. It lifts light gently rather than reflecting it sharply, so it can make a room feel settled and composed. In a north-facing room, Dufour will lean a little greyer and cooler, which suits its understated character. In south-facing light, the green comes forward more clearly and the colour feels cleaner and fresher. It works well beside warm oak, walnut and painted joinery, and it also gives a calm backdrop to linen weaves, charcoal upholstery and muted patterned curtains.

How to use it
