About this colour

This #657978 reads as a cool, greyed teal with enough green in it to stop it feeling icy, and enough blue to keep it calm. It absorbs more light than it reflects, so it sits quietly on a wall and can make a room feel more intimate. In north-facing light it turns moodier and more slate-like, with the blue note becoming clearer. In south-facing rooms it softens and the green side comes forward, giving a more natural, muted finish.
