About this colour

This shade reads as a soft dusty pink-beige with enough grey to keep it calm rather than sugary, and the #A79D9E value gives it a low-contrast, slightly muted look on a wall. It reflects light gently without feeling bright, so it can help a room feel open while still holding some depth. In north-facing light it turns cooler and more dove-like, with the pink note becoming quieter. In south-facing light it warms up, showing more of its rose-beige character and sitting well beside pale oak, walnut, stone, and linen tones. In Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion, or True Matt, it works particularly well where you want the colour to read as a refined background rather than the main event.

How to use it

Dusk suits bedrooms, sitting rooms, and dressing rooms where a softer wall colour is needed, and it is especially effective on joinery, panelling, or fitted cabinetry. Pair it with natural woodwork, muted cream upholstery, or deeper taupe and mushroom shades for a balanced scheme.

On a wall, Dusk feels calm and quietly warm, with a greyed pink tone that changes gently with the light.

Order it with the cloth

A pot comes off the same order as the fabric, so the wall and the chair in front of it are chosen together. The making is ours: cut, sewn and fitted in our own Heybridge workshop, with Simon over every stage.

Pairs well with

Dusk is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
