Dawson Midnight

Dawson Fabrics FabricCCF0617-09

Dawson Midnight reads as a deep, cool navy with an almost black cast. Fine irregular creases and tonal flecks interrupt the quiet surface, giving this dark colourway depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The close, softly crinkled surface catches the light in subtle charcoal-blue variations, creating texture without a defined motif. At 730 gsm and 140 cm usable width, Dawson Midnight has the substantial presence suited to upholstered furniture. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the texture remains continuous across cuts. The 25 m standard length is practical for larger upholstery requirements.

How to use it

Pair this midnight blue with pale grey, smoked oak or brushed metal to draw out its cool depth. It also works as a grounding upholstery colour in rooms with warm timber and muted natural tones.

Use this deep blue-black upholstery cloth to bring quiet depth and softly tactile texture to seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
