Plato Linen Blue

Gloriana FabricJ0250-04

Plato Linen Blue shows a delicate vertical repeat of slim blue motifs set against a warm ivory ground. The effect is airy and precise, with the blue reading soft and cool rather than bright.

About this fabric

Gloriana’s Plato Linen Blue is composed of 78% Linen, 17% Viscose and 5% Polyester, with a repeat of V 16cm / H 16cm approx and a width of 128cm approx. The fabric has a light, textured linen handle that suits both curtains and light upholstery, depending on the application. In this colourway the pattern feels restrained and fresh: slender leaf-like marks sit in neat rows, their pale denim blue centres edged by a whisper of softer grey-blue. The ivory background keeps the design open and calm, while the woven texture adds just enough depth to stop the surface looking flat.

How to use it

Use Plato Linen Blue to bring a tailored, coastal freshness to slip covers, armchairs or Roman blinds. It pairs especially well with chalk white, pale oak and other muted blues.

A crisp pale-blue pattern that keeps a room feeling light and tailored.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
