Earnley blue

Diffusion Fabricearnley/fa1/blu

Earnley Blue sets painterly blooms against a pale ground, with the design reading fresh, airy and softly watercoloured. The large floral forms give this colourway a luminous, garden-inspired presence.

About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 95% cotton and 5% linen, giving it a natural, softly textured handle that suits relaxed interior schemes. At 230gsm, it has enough substance for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, while the 140cm usable width makes it practical for made-to-measure projects. The colourway blends periwinkle and cornflower notes with lavender shading, yellow centres and fresh green leaves, so the print feels cool and botanical rather than bold or saturated. Its 70cm horizontal repeat and 67cm vertical repeat create a generously scaled floral pattern that reads clearly across larger window treatments.

How to use it

Use Earnley Blue in a light-filled room where its soft blue petals and green foliage can sit against chalky paintwork or bleached wood. It works especially well with pale neutrals and linen textures, keeping the scheme calm but still expressive.

Pair with pale linens and warm timber to let the painterly flowers stay fresh and airy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
