Clovelly blue

Diffusion Fabricclovell/fa1/blu

Clovelly Blue shows a loose, watercolour floral pattern in soft blue petals with fresh green leaves on a pale ground. The overall effect is airy and lightly washed, with the design drifting across the cloth rather than sitting hard on the surface.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this 230 gsm fabric has enough body for soft drape while still feeling refined and breathable. The visible surface reads as a lightly textured cotton-linen cloth, which suits the painterly clarity of the blue blooms and the pale, almost misty background. Its 46.6 cm horizontal repeat and 68.5 cm vertical repeat indicate a generous floral pattern that will open up beautifully across wider curtains or statement blinds. Dry clean only, with iron-safe care, makes it practical for made-up interior pieces where the colour and motif need to stay crisp.

How to use it

Use Clovelly Blue for relaxed curtains or Roman blinds where the soft periwinkle tones can catch daylight. It pairs well with pale oak, white-painted trim and other cool neutrals for a fresh, coastal-leaning scheme.

A painterly blue floral that lifts a room with a fresh, airy feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
