Cloudburst Purple is a painterly abstract fabric with cloud-like washes of lilac, periwinkle and aqua drifting across a pale ground. The colourway feels fresh and light, but with enough depth in the darker violet edges to give the design presence.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a soft, natural handle that suits drapery as well as relaxed upholstery projects. The visible surface reads as a linen-cotton blend with a gently open, breathable look, while the large-scale abstract pattern gives the cloth a fluid, watercolour character. In this colourway, the purples lean cool and hazy rather than saturated, with flashes of teal, mint and blue adding a springlike lift against the airy base. With a 140cm usable width, 230gsm weight and a 70cm horizontal repeat by 82.2cm vertical repeat, it is well suited to curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. Dry clean only and iron safe.

How to use it

Pair Cloudburst Purple with pale oak, chalk white or brushed nickel to keep the palette airy and contemporary. It works especially well where you want a statement pattern that still feels softened by its cool lilac and blue tones.

Use it to bring a soft, artistic wash of colour to a room without feeling heavy.
