About this colour

This shade reads as a calm pink-beige taupe with enough grey in it to stop it feeling sweet, and enough warmth to keep it from looking cold. On a wall it absorbs more light than it reflects, so it feels composed rather than bright, especially in the deeper True Matt finish. In a north-facing room it can lean a little cooler and more mushroom-like, while still holding its warmth; in south-facing light it brings out the beige and rose notes and feels richer. It sits comfortably beside natural oak, walnut and painted joinery, and gives a quiet backdrop to linens, velvets and leathers in stone, tobacco, sage or deep brown.
