Alina FabricM4172-05

Lison Grenat is a sharply striped fabric with a deep garnet ground and crisp pale pinstripes that give the surface a tailored, linear rhythm. The fine weave reads close and polished rather than bulky.

About this fabric

From the Alina collection by Manuel Canovas, this fabric is composed of 60% viscose and 40% cotton, with a width of approximately 138cm and a vertical repeat of 0cm / horizontal repeat of approximately 2cm. In this colourway, the red is a dark garnet tone, warmed by a soft rose-beige ground and tightened by narrow charcoal detailing that makes the stripes feel precise. The overall effect is elegant and restrained, with enough depth to hold light without looking glossy. It is a versatile textile for upholstery or drapery where a refined striped pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use Lison Grenat to add structure to an armchair, banquette or bench, especially against pale walls or stone-toned finishes. Its deep red stripe works well with walnut, antique brass and quiet neutrals for a classic, composed room.

Use with dark timber, parchment and muted blush for a rich, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
