About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 139 cm and a substantial weight of 383 gsm, which gives the check a tailored, upholstery-friendly feel. The cloth shows a softly mottled wool texture, with the darker indigo lines settling into a blue-grey ground and lighter turquoise notes running through the squares. Its 30 cm vertical and 28 cm horizontal repeat keep the check broad and orderly, while the 27.5 threads per cm add clarity to the woven detail. The overall effect is cool, restrained and slightly coastal, with enough depth in the shade to soften the boldness of the pattern.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a deep-buttoned chair, ottoman or banquette where the blue-grey ground can read calm and the teal accents bring lift. It also works well with pale oak, weathered timber and brushed metal for a fresh, layered room scheme.

The cool blue-grey ground is lifted by soft teal stripes, giving a fresh, coastal feel on armchairs or cushions.
