About this colour

At #E0E0E0, Frost reads as a light cool grey with a calm, even face on the wall. It lifts a room clearly without the brightness of a pure white, so it feels airy rather than crisp. In a north-facing room it can look a touch more silvery and subdued, while in south light it softens and appears warmer, though it never turns beige. It works neatly beside painted joinery, pale oak, walnut and darker timber, and it gives a tidy background to patterned upholstery in charcoal, blue, sage or muted blush. In True Matt it feels gentle and reserved, while Acrylic Eggshell and Elite Emulsion suit woodwork that needs a little more light reflection.

How to use it

Use Frost in living rooms, hallways or bedrooms where you want a pale wall colour that stays restrained. It pairs well with cream curtains, oak furniture and upholstery in slate, navy or soft green.
