About this fabric

This Gloriana fabric by Jane Churchill is composed of 79% Linen, 12% Viscose and 9% Polyester, and it comes in a width of approximately 128cm with a vertical repeat of 3cm. In this colourway, the broad indigo stripes have a muted, dusky depth rather than a bright navy finish, while the slim teal motifs bring a cooler, more airy note. The woven surface has the relaxed texture you would expect from a linen-rich fabric, so the pattern remains crisp but not overly polished. It is a versatile cloth for curtains, cushions or lighter upholstery where you want a smart stripe with a softer, more textural character.

How to use it

Use it to introduce structure in a room with pale walls, natural timber and chalky neutrals, letting the indigo stripes anchor the scheme. The teal detail also works well alongside sea-glass blues, brass accents or crisp white upholstery.

A crisp striped weave that feels tailored in a calm indigo and teal palette.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
